Ke Klinik Kerajaan

Setelah di suggest oleh parents, doctor dan melalui pembacaan (forum), saya ke Klinik Komuniti Kesihatan berdekatan rumah. Orang kata bila ada buku merah ni senang sikit in case of emergency, manalah saya di 'tolak' ke government hospital walaupun routine check up dia private hospital. Tapi doctor saya kata kalau hospital swasta yang lengkap facilitiesnya, takde dorang nak push2 case (sperti preterm labour) ke govt hosp, tapi bersiap sedia la deposit minimum 10K. Hmmm we'll see about that.


Saya ke klinik kesihatan ni hari Isnin. The overall process took about 3 hours, not that the waiting period is long this time, it's just that there's a lot of test to go through.

I reach about 9.45am, tinggalkan maklumat2 yang diperlukan di counter pendaftaran dan ambil nombor.


Lepas sejam they call my name and start to weight me and measure my height. Thereafter, verified those particular that they ask us to bring along. Kemudian ambil tekanan darah saya.

Actually before breakfast, husband singgah sekejap tanya nurse apa perlu dibawa. Basically, all we need to bring are sijil nikah, MyKad, previous buku merah (saya ada sebab pernah ke HTAR masa mengandung tahun 2006, sesiapa takde tak perlu lah) and latest scan or bukti mengesahkan kehamilan.


So sementara tunggu turn saya susun2 la file ni. File ni detail2 pasal IVF treament dan pregnancy saya.

Lepas tu saya diminta ke kaunter lain untuk urine test (gula) and hemoglobin test. Dan kebilik lain untuk blood test (HIV test).

Then wait for a moment for check-up, nurse ask me to take off my bra, rest on the bed, doing breast check-up for me while explaining whether my breast are suitable for breastfeeding or not. Then advise me on what to eat and prescribe me folic acid, vitamin C, B complex and Iron (sebab hemglobin test saya agak rendah) which need to be taken at pharmacy unit.


Lengkap ujian2 di klinik nii, saya suka. Nurse2 pun explain dengan bagus tapi doctornya kurang bercakap. Not to what I expected. Mungkin doctor di sini masih muda dan not fair la untuk saya bandingkan dengan gynae yang berpengalaman bertahun2. Oh dan mesin scannya pun agak kurang canggih la, macam zaman dulu2 punya.

I was scheduled for check-up amonth after this check-up, hopefully saya akan pergi :-)
